The Bund is a protected historic district and waterfront area located in the heart of Shanghai. In the old Shanghai International Settlement, the region is centered on a portion of Zhongshan Road (East Zhongshan Road No.1) that runs along the Huangpu River's western bank in the eastern part of Huangpu. The riverbank region is facing Pudong's contemporary buildings in Lujiazui.The buildings and wharves on this portion of the road, along with a few nearby locations, are typically referred to as the "Bundund." Numerous buildings in this area have a strong European influence; in particular, Gothic, Baroque, Neoclassical, Romanesque, Art Deco, and Renaissance architecture are all very similar to those seen in European towns. It also has some of the best restaurants in the city.[1] As a legally protected treaty port, it served as the wealthy and influential hub of Shanghai's foreign establishment from the 1860s until the 1930s.

Shanghai's iconic landmark is the Bund, a 1.5-kilometer embankment that runs along the Huangpu River's western side. With 52 beautifully restored historic European-style buildings, it is a "architecture gallery" that has gained new life and is now home to upscale eateries, boutique stores, and pubs.

By air:Shanghai Hongqiao (SHA) Airport, which is 14.2 kilometers from The Bund, is the closest airport. Additional airports in the vicinity are Ningbo Lishe (NGB) (157.8 km), Shanghai Pudong (PVG) (32 km), Sunan Shuofang (WUX) (104.3 km), and Hangzhou Xiaoshan (HGH) (150 km). After being examined and approved by China's border inspection authorities in compliance with the law, foreign persons who are traveling to China for business and trade, tourism, family and friend visits, or transit and who meet the requirements for a visa waiver are permitted entry into China without a visa. You can take a taxi (180 CNY = 630,000 VND), the Maglev train (50 CNY ∼ 175,000 VND), or an airport bus (20 CNY ≈ 70,000 VND) to get to the heart of Shanghai when the plane lands at Pudong International Airport. It will just take 8 minutes. 
By Train : After the plane lands at Pudong International Airport, you can take a taxi (180 CNY = 630,000 VND), the Maglev train (50 CNY ∼ 175,000 VND), or an airport bus (20 CNY ≈ 70,000 VND) to go to the heart of Shanghai, which is only 8 minutes away.
