Hoi An is a remarkably preserved UNESCO World Heritage trading port in Central Vietnam. Dating back to the 2nd century, Hoi An served as a thriving international trading hub from the 15th to 19th centuries. Merchants from China, Japan, India, and Europe flocked to the Thu Bon River to trade silk, ceramics, and spices. When the river eventually silted up in the late 19th century, trade shifted to nearby Da Nang, effectively freezing Hoi An in time and saving it from modern developmen

BY Air : Hoi An does not have its own airport. To travel there by air, you will fly into Da Nang International Airport (DAD), which is located about 30 kilometers north of Hoi An. The journey from the airport to the city center takes about 45 minutes by car. From India: Major airlines like Vietnam Airlines and VietJet Air operate connecting flights from hubs like Delhi (DEL) to Da Nang, with travel times typically ranging from 8 to 10 hours depending on the layover. BY Taxi : Traveling by taxi is the most convenient way to reach or get around Hoi An, Vietnam. A standard taxi or private car from Da Nang International Airport to Hoi An takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour and costs roughly $15 to $20 (350,000 to 450,000 VND) depending on your destination
